Background
From the moment she sat in an elementary school classroom, she knew she wanted to be a teacher. That calling has shaped everything since.
She holds a doctoral degree in physics and has been teaching at the college level since 2009. Over the years she has taught a wide range of courses — most with laboratory components — working with students from diverse backgrounds and making complex scientific concepts accessible, engaging, and practical.
Her teaching approach centers on active learning and real-world discovery. She regularly brings physics to life through hands-on experiments, interactive simulations, live astronomy observations, and demonstrations involving equipment such as a Van de Graaff generator, magnetic levitation setups, and holography — covering concepts across motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, and optics.
She is currently working full-time in education, bringing complex ideas to life by creating hands-on experiences that help students see, understand, and remember what they learn.
